Costa Verde is further expanding its range of crockery made from feldspathic porcelain. As the company based in Vagos has announced, with the addition of the Tense and Bubbly lines, it now has 20 collections grouped under its Moods line for gastronomy and hotels. Each collection plays with special color pigments and individual glazes, which are produced at temperatures of 1,400 degrees Celsius.
The company began to develop the Moods line with its individual glazes even before the Covid-19 pandemic. For this, it relied on its own research and development department as well as long-standing cooperations with distributors. These partnerships make it possible to develop the collections that businesses operating within the gastronomic and hotel industries really need. In this context, the emphasis is on practical requirements such as durability, stackability and timelessness.
Costa Verde will also continue to produce its traditional porcelain lines. For example, the Terra collection, which was designed in conjunction with the artist Per Gifre, won the Red Dot Award 2023. The collection is also supported by top chefs such as Henrique Sá Pessoa in Lisbon and Dieter Koschina in Albufeira in the Algarve. Both chefs have been awarded a prestigious two Michelin stars.
Costa Verde was founded in 1992 and now exports to more than 50 countries. The share of exports amounts to around 70 percent. ce/stk
